Jaguar At Copan Mayan Ruins

The Central American region - in particular Guatemala, Honduras and a significant part of Mexico - is enriched by a wonderful Maya heritage. Ruins of fabulous cities, distinctive textiles and sporting and culinary legacies such as ball games and chocolate are part of the rich fabric of the region. The Maya were noted for their astronomical observations and for their distinctive 260 day calendar.
